Our Story

Everything But The Meat was born from a passion for bold Caribbean flavors and plant-based goodness—but it’s also deeply rooted in family.

Long before we launched our first restaurant, my daughter and I would play “cooking show” in our kitchen. I was the Chef, and she was the enthusiastic “Psue-Chef,” as she proudly called herself. We’d laugh, stir pots, and pretend we were teaching an audience how to make our favorite dishes. Those playful moments became the foundation of something much bigger.

Though our physical restaurant doors eventually closed, our love for food, culture, and community never did. In fact, it grew stronger. As we transitioned into a catering business, a new opportunity emerged to reach even more people—and Carol’s Daughter was born.

Carol’s Daughter is more than just a name. It represents a new chapter where generations come together, where tradition meets innovation, and where plant-based creativity blends with the essence of traditional Caribbean meals.

It’s a tribute to the early days in our kitchen and a bridge to the future we’re building—together. This special extension of our brand is about more than food—it’s about legacy, love, and leaving a mark that feeds both body and soul.
